It is illegal to feed alligators in the state of Florida.

Animals must be at least 4 ft. in order to be classified as a nuisance. The Florida Wildlife Commission doesn’t consider smaller alligators as a threat. However, if you feel one less than 4′ is dangerous, they will remove. For more information regarding nuisance alligators click here.
